9 Marks
Stafford Baptist seeks to model our membership and ministry on the following nine elements of church life. They have been outlined by the 9 Marks of a Healthy Church ministry but we believe they are scriptural and essential for health and growth in the life of the church.

WELCOME TO STAFFORD BAPTIST!
Hello!
We know there's a lot to consider when seeking the Lord's leading in searching for a church home. You'll find some answers below to a few questions we hear frequently.
We hope to have the opportunity to meet and serve you. If you decide to visit us, filling out this form is a great way to let us know to look for you, and to get answers to any additional questions you may have ahead of time!
"When and
where?"
We gather at 11am on Sunday mornings for our congregational worship service. We also offer Sunday school at 9:45am.
We're right on Route 1, just north of the Stafford County courthouse. You can't miss our big blue sign! Directions
"What can I
expect?"
At SBC, you'll find a warm and welcoming community spanning generations, occupations, and backgrounds. You'll find both pulpit and pew (they're cushioned!), and drums and guitars.
Ultimately, you can expect to find a community of sinners, justified by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus and actively seeking to spur one another on toward godliness.
"What is SBC
all about?"
This is our favorite question! We want to be known for making much of Jesus Christ. We are imperfect people rescued by the gracious work of God the Son, Jesus Christ, being sanctified through God the Spirit, for the glory of God the Father.
We think there are lots of great things about Stafford Baptist, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is at the core of it all!
"What are your
services like?
We hope and pray that our services are simple, easy to follow and God-glorifying. To that end:
We pray, because we are dependent on God
We sing songs, because God is worthy of our praise
We read & preach the Bible, because in the Bible we find life
We proclaim the Gospel, because it is the only message for salvation
We focus on Jesus, because He is the only hope for the world.
"What will I do
with my kids?"
You are welcome to keep them with you. You'll find many families do. To help your kids follow along with the sermon and participate in the service, we have children's activity pages available as you arrive.
We offer childcare for kids 3 years and younger. All of our nursery workers are background checked, trained, and love caring for children! You can learn more here.
