Advent Series 2018

Have you ever wondered why wise men traveled such a long way and brought expensive gifts for a baby (Matthew 2:1-12)? Or maybe why it is so significant that Simeon has met this baby (Luke 2:22-38)? Well it's not because this baby was cuter than all other babies or even that he had the curious case of Benjamin Button, but instead because the coming and birth of this baby had been foretold of for thousands of years. Throughout the Old Testament we see promises that someone was coming, someone was to be born who will bring fulfillment to all the promises God has made to his people. Jesus, the baby born in Bethlehem, is the King promised to come and Jesus did everything these prophesies foretold. Therefore, these promises deserve our attention during the Christmas season. Join us for the first 4 Sundays of December as we examine these Old Testament Promises and see their fulfillment in the God-Man Jesus Christ.
